Tameka L. Smallwood, graduated from Morgan State University in 2001 and obtained a Masters Degree from The College of Notre Dame of Maryland in 2006. Tameka got her first taste of wedding planning when she designed her aunt's garden wedding at the age of 17. This passion continued through her college years as she designed and directed events for campus organizations and various family events. During three years of training as Coordinator's Assistant at a Washington, DC area premier wedding planning firm, Tameka's passion and skill for weddings and event planning was enhanced (so much so that she was promoted to Business Manager and Coordinator - being the only Assistant to be promoted to Coordinator in the firm's 21 year history). Tameka's natural sense of creativity and style adds to the sophistication of the weddings that she designs and directs. Tameka has also had years of customer service and business management education and experience, which serves as the foundation of her commitment to professionalism and supreme customer service.
